Your nine Iowa Area Education Agencies have partnered with providers of digital education
resources and LearningCORE to offer the AEA Digital Library for Iowa students
and teachers. Iowa AEAs work as educational partners with all accredited preK-12
schools to help students, school staff, parents, and communities meet today’s
educational challenges. Iowa AEAs are widely regarded as one of the foremost
regional service systems in the country, offering media resources that can be
provided most equitably, efficiently and economically on a regional or
cooperative basis among school districts.
These digital collections offer current and relevant materials for curriculum
needs and student learning, both in and out of school. Teachers and parents are
able to guide children toward these resources for answers to questions, and for
information that supports student learning and achievement. Parents are
encouraged to use this access with their children to model and guide good
practices for information retrieval and problem-solving. Access is available
24/7 to all users who have a username and password, and from all computers that
are IP authenticated. For assistance in locating your AEA and for securing
